Fisher Research Labs Pull Online Giveaway Due To Scammers

It seems the scammers have once again been busy on Facebook. Fisher Research Labs was running a giveaway on their Facebook page where you could win a Fisher F22 metal detector. However, these types of giveaways are easily used by scammers who simply message people who have taken part, telling them they have won. They then try to get you to enter your credit card details into a fake website or online form. 

Fisher has now closed the giveaway and issued the following statement:
