More Nokta Makro Legend Delays?

The Nokta Makro Legend was originally due to appear in stores sometime in December 2021. It was then announced that the machine would not be shipping until January 2022. This was apparently due to the updating of firmware after feedback from field testers.

January has now moved into February and there has been no confirmation of shipping this month.

There are problems with the economy in Turkey at the moment. The Turkish Lire has lost 40% of its value over the past few months. Gas and Electricity to businesses is being rationed and many are having to close for days or weeks at a time. The country’s cash reserves are said to be as low as $7 billion.

We are of course hoping to see the machine in stores before the end of February and this still could happen but it would not be too much of a surprise if it didn’t land until March. This may not be a bad thing. It coincides with the end of Winter and the start of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. And what nicer way to begin your adventures than with a new machine and the onset of milder weather.
