Minelab X-TERRA PRO - It's Official! - Treasure Hunting World

As we reported the other day, there was a lot of speculation and rumour about a new machine from Minelab. The X-TERRA PRO. A machine with selectable frequencies but no simultaneous multi-frequency.

Minelab were pretty non-committal when we asked them about this new machine. And since then they have not responded to any further requests for information.

However, after extensively looking into this matter and seeing so many dealers in China with the machine in stock, it was only a matter of time before Minelab came clean and admitted that it was in fact, a genuine Minelab machine and not some sort of Chinese fake or counterfeit.

We understand that testing has been taking place in China for the past couple of months and that the new machine is now rolling out to dealers there. As yet there is no word on availability elsewhere but we do know that they will be showcasing the machine at the IWA, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for hunting, shooting sports, equipment for outdoor activities and security. This takes place in Nuremberg, Germany between the 2nd and 5th of March.

The price for the X-TERRA PRO has now been confirmed at $299/£299/€299
